Fire Baptism Now or Later?http://www.christsassembly.com/literature/fire_baptism.htmHebrews 12:28 & 29 "Wherefore we recieving a Kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear,
for our God is a consuming fire."
The spiritual truth of our God being a consuming fire is mentioned throughout the bible. Several places in the bible say "all flesh is grass" and our enemies are called chaff & stubble to be consumed by the fire of God who destroys them. (More references Deuteronomy 8:3, Deut. 4:24, Isa 5:24-25, Isa 40:6, all use this concept, among many more). I would think it would be better to operate more in the spirit where we're safe, rather than in flesh of this world, making the world our home. The word says only the Philadelphian church of brotherly love will escape the great tribulation that will come upon those who have made earth their home, rather than heaven.
We all are given two ways to be baptized with fire. One is to join ourselves to God now and let His fire of the spirit burn out of us all dross like it is taken from silver through true love in obeying His commandments, crucifying our flesh. Otherwise we can receive the ultimate price and pay with the tribulation that comes upon the whole world and when the entire earth is baptized with fire. We have to choose who's side we're on. There is God's side which is truth and love, and the world's side which is lies, darkness and hate. Remember the devil comes as an angel of light, and broad is the path to destruction and narrow is the path to life and few there by that find it. That would mean the common view found by 99% of propaganda found on TV would be the broad path to destruction. God's viewpoints are found in His word, and those are the ones that matter.
"He maketh His ministers a flame of fire" (Heb 1:7) His servants who overcome now with true pure love cannot be burned in the coming fire which is to come upon the whole world. Anyone who believes in Christ will be like gold or silver refined by the fire, and if there are still parts of our lives where flesh still has dominance we'll suffer loss, just not complete loss, as our foundation is laid for ever, and that is Christ (I Cor 3:11-15)
Jesus aforespoke of this baptism of refining or killing our flesh nature in Luke 12:49-51. Paul told us to reckon our old flesh nature as dead already, as teh legal position we have in Christ to walk in the power of the spiritual new man. Having been baptized as buried unto His death, that the resurrection fire power of the spirit may work (Rom 6:1-2) Ezekiel Chapter 1 speaks of the fire that completely surrounds those which are full of life, as it has lightening bolts or higher electrical power they're saturated in. Revelation 5:9 says these same beings are redeemed by the blood of the lamb; in other words it is our spirit nature revealed. They're called God's Glory in Ezekiel 8:4, 9:3, 10:4 & 43:2-4)
Being "consumed" with fire is like the bible says His true people will be is when the Holy Spirit activates within us electrically energizing us actually into a higher lifestyle and power. As Jesus said we'd be baptized "into" fire, not only "into" water it is biblically spoken of as being submerged and saturated in every area of your life into a higher force. As Paul spoke of all Israelites being baptized into Moses in I Cor. 10:2 "and we were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and did eat the same spiritual mean; and did all drink the same spiritual drink; for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them; and that Rock was Christ." So too our entire lives will be completely saturated, and more, uplifted by the electrical fire power of our God.
There will be two camps in the end 1. They that know God and obey His commandments. 2. They who do not, who of which Christ and His angels shall "in flaming fire taking vengeance on them who know not God, and obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Thes 1:

(Note: I John 2:4 "He that saith I know Him and keepeth not His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in Him." Not jots or tittles can pass from the law until all prophecies & laws are fulfilled Matt 5:17-19) Not until after 2 Thesselonians 1:8 has been fulfilled will we be able to remove some of the punctuation points or words from teh law, else there's no reason for Jesus to be our High Priest and our lamb sacrifice since only the law says we ISRAELITES need them. (The law was given to Israel and no other nation, where there is no law there is no sin. He only came to redeem those who were under the law, not the other nations, they were never His people, so they never need to be "remarried" back to God. (Scriptural references click here:
http://christsassembly.com/literature/Gods_law_for_israel.htm ) all the laws of Western Christian nations come from God's law, and many tyrants placed in authority are now violating their own constitutional laws, even more God's law those are based on. The main definition of a tyrant is if they violate their law, which all goes back to God's Israelite law separate from all other nations and races.)
"The law is spiritual, but we are flesh, sold under sin." (Rom 7:14). Only walking in the spirit, or walking in God's word - law - teachings of love and purity will we abide in Christ having liberty from the bondage of sin. His law is called "the word" and "the truth" which sets us free. The fire will emanate light to those around us and to our own minds within. His word the light expressed through love transforms us and those around.
Acts 14:22 "..we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom." David acknowledge all his trials and corrections from God were to teach Him God's law better and grow more spiritually. How much more does the power of the Holy Spirit give us that divine enablement and power to obey today! As Paul said it is when we decrease that He increases. The more we lose our lives for Him the more we'll find it, As Jesus had said, and that those who seek to find their lives will also lose it.
Be glad if you have the trials of being a Christian now, so you dont bear the greater trials the world must bear at Christ's coming. I Peter 4:12-13 "think it not strange concerning the fiery trial, but rejoice!" There is much encouragement and good from God's word if you do suffer for doing what is right in this age. We are to rejoice and cherish such persecution, we are to embrace it! In Matthew 5:10 Jesus said, "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." When we're persecuted it means we are very close to breaking ground for God's kingdom rule to be operating in the earth. That our enemies fear God's law and they know we have all the power and must stop us. We have the answers because God's law is the answer to all world problems. The New World Order is only concerned in silencing the people who have Jesus and God's law, as it says in Revelation 12:17, but we know it says in the end we win and prevail over the entire beast system.
